One of the things I like about forums is that there are always a number of posters who want to extend their involvement more once they've gotten their feet wet here. I've not only introduced the idea of a Wiki that people can think about for the time being. I thought that once there are enough participants in the "Member Op-ed" pieces that we can put together a blog/e-zine that features our collaborative work together in one setting.
Being a blogger myself, I have seen how the form has been made more compelling by collaborative efforts between different posters. And, it would be the best thing if there is enough writing in the Member Op-Ed pieces to feature articles from the forum in one good place. That would be not only a great incentive for member pariticipation, but also a fitting reward for members who like to express themselves creativity on the topics of history, politics, society and culture.
So what do you guys think? Would you guys be interested in a forum blog/e-zine that features the Op-ed pieces?
(this would be started when there is a variety of pieces to publish and if there is a community effort behind this.)
So work on your writing. You may have another place to share your thoughts if enough people go for it!

It is very important that you stay in college because having a univeristy education is very valuable. Thank you for giving your .02 to this issue because I've thought about this aspect since the first day of starting the forum. I thought that if we had enough participation that we could put all of our insights together to post a group of articles on various subjects that could extend some deeper insights into the issues of the day. This is still in the planning stages, though. And even in the future--if there are enough members interested in this--we can also have a member become a staff editor for this blog/e-zine. Let's continue to brainstorm this for now and hear what the rest of the members have to say about this.
