Although I can say that the current Administration never ceases to amaze me with all the appointments that it is responsible for, the latest just boggles the mind. It seems that President Bush has appointed a new "War Czar" to run the national side of the Iraq War. This new head of war operations is supposed to oversee the efforts that regularly the Chiefs of Staff and the Commander-in-Chief is supposed to do. I don't know whether this is Mr. Bush's way of escaping responsibility for an already unwinnable war or not, but still I would like to know how everyone else feels about this. Do you think that adding a "War Czar" is just a little bit too much? There will be more info posted about this a little later.

I think that I'm at the point where nothing would surprise me about this administration. It's an embarrassment to the American people and the Constitution we (supposedly) hold so dear.
Patriot Act... what the f**k?
Anyways, If I woke up tomorrow and learned that we just rained nuclear death upon China, it wouldn't surprise me.
Of course there would be a fancy story as to why. There's always a story, and it always starts with "My fellow Americans..."
President Bush is not my peer. And I would spit on him if we ever crossed glances in the street.

It's amazing to me that they would think about adding a "War Czar". Although granted, he needs advice to change things around in Iraq, I think that finally Congress has to put their foot down and force the changes that need to be made. Let's face it. A majority of the American people are tired with what is going on in Iraq. And "staying the course" does not work anymore. The only thing that seems to happen is that more soldiers are either being kidnapped or killed. At this point, a new "War Czar" seems rather pointless.

Next thing you know they will be announcing the new Politburo Donald Rumsfeld.
I mean, honestly, where does it end?
I wonder what President Bush thinks when he looks into the mirror each morning.

There's a book that discusses simply that. It's called, Bush on the Couch (2002). It's quite insightful when analyzing Mr. Bush's character right down to the problems with empathy and the diagnosis that he is a "dry drunk". Other than that, I'd like to post an article talking about the "War Czar". (I apologize for the lateness of this source, but it's been rather hectic the last few days ). This is from ABC News: Again, I wonder why a "War Czar" is important--especially when there is the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
