Okay, everyone, I'd like to know any future topics that you would like to see on CNV that you'd want to participate in. After all, there are still a plethora of subjects that people would like to converse. So, if there is a board or sub-board that you'd like CNV have, please post it here.

Quick question, any idea why I can only create one new thread before it locks me out of creating new ones?

Hmmmmm. That hasn't happened to me before. There are a few things that might have happened: 1)Did you type thirty words or more in the thread you were trying to start? If you didn't, that would mean that the initial post in your new thread didn't make it past thirty words. If it did, I'll have to research it a bit more. 2)If you clicked to post, sometimes the button would freeze on you. If that is the case, copy what you've written in the thread. Then, refresh the screen and paste the previous comments in the new text box. Then, you should be able to post your new thread. 3)The only other thing is that there are boards that only staff can post on right now. They are as follows: Mission Statement and Board Rules, CNV Special Reports and Guidelines for Member Submissions. Otherwise the rest of the boards are free to members. And Messages to Mad Radio is open to guests and members. If it is anything else, we'll get to the bottom of this. Would you tell me specifically what steps you took before the thread locked on you?

I think it may have been the thrity word minimum. I was not aware of it, so I never checked for it There is also a 30 word minimum to responding to posts. Is that something you intentionally added in?

Yes, I put in the code for the word count and the thirty word limit when I created the board. I didn't want people to do "one word" or "two word" posts, so at the time I thought it made a lot of sense. As I wrote in another post concerning this problem, that the thirty-word limit is up for negotiation. If it becomes too bothersome for everyone, I can see if I can override it--while keeping the word count there.

Ah, makes sense.
But yeah, this whole section here (starting with 'but, yeah') is merely to appease the word count so I can actually post a response. word word word word there.
