Although Pres. Bush has said that Atty. Gen. Alberto Gonzales "did nothing wrong", there is still the no-confidence vote that the Senate plans to introduce to show their marked disapproval of Gonzales' behavior in his office. This is the first time that Congress has ever issued such an action for a sitting Atty. Gen. in office before. What I wonder from the rest of you guys is whether you agree with the no-confidence vote.
Do you guys agree that Mr. Gonzales should leave office? Has he demonstrated, in your point of view, a failure in upholding the Constitution as well as fairly executing all laws in the United States?

Honestly, I think that the certain governmental branches are just trying to save face for the utter mockery that the Bush Administration has created.
They're trying to grasp on to something... anything... and if shady people have to burn... then so be it.

Yes, but there is history behind the endeavors of Alberto Gonzales. The most recent one is the late night visit to an ailing John Ashcroft to get him to sign off on the wiretapping program. He has been Bush's toady since the days in Texas, but I think that the no-confidence vote is a long time coming for him. When in hearings, he always try to talk himself out of accountability issues. And, he has been nothing but a mouth-piece to legitimize the illegality that Bush White House participates in.
So, I think that this measure by the Senate, is pretty much the last straw to get him out. Finally, they had to put their foot down.
